Chris says creditcards.com is a large site that drives leads to credit card issuers. Creditcards.com is using Omniture technologies to take their search marketing campaigns and operate them in a multi-channel way, taking into account the value that search generates and looking at the impact of other marketing channels on paid search. Search is part of an overall visitor acquisition strategy that involves online and offline components. Chris says the study examined tracking of all of the traffic to their website and capturing offline data on the credit card applications. Omniture was able to automate this integration between online and offline channels. Creditcards.com ultimately saw upwards of 40% lift in completed credit card applications and approvals from the issuers.
